[Despite earnest intentions to the contrary, last week had a business-as-usual murder trial. Well, you may not all act noble, but you'll be treated like royalty on this new floor. ...Except by Sheepy, who is still bugging you when you're awake. The strange distortions appear in the air before she shows up before everyone.]

Flickering off and on like a power outage, or like a kid playing with the lights?

[She doesn't seem too worried about this development. At least she's paying attention, though]

Like a kid playing with the lights. They stopped once I did it, though.

[The kid playing with lights has returned!

It blinks out the lights in this kind of pattern. 2... 8... 2... 8... 5... 3... 2... 9... 4... 5... 9.]

[Shelley looks up to the lights, waiting for a few seconds. Just when she was going to suggest it was the staff doing it the flickering lights return]

Two...eight...two...

[That's a long string of numbers. Shelley takes her notepad and just in case writes it down]

Uh, Mitsuko, was there a pattern before too?

I...think so. I didn't pay attention to it but...

[She thinks.]

Where would we need to put these numbers in?

[tibkins]

A safe. A door with password. The PIN to Sandra's bloated bank account. It could be anything.

[Really, it could be. Still, there's something else she's wondering]

I'm more worried about who's giving these numbers and why. It can't have been any of us, I really doubt the controls to the lights are anywhere in the floors we can go to.

[Hold on--]

Well, we can think about that later. What about the lockers?

[Probably not the girl's lockers but.. (Thanks Merciless.)]

That...that could be! Good thinking!

[She doesn't need to be told twice, but before going out she does a 180° and comes back]

Wait a second, we can't just open that like this! If inputting the wrong password could count as breaking a rule I'm not going to be the one to try it.

[Shelley has gotten too far to get reckless at a time like this. She takes a deep breath, thinking of who'd want to take the risk. No one comes to mind, but there's someone she believes many would want to push to do it]

We should get Duke to do it.
