Week 7

Monday - Thursday

[Despite earnest intentions to the contrary, last week had a business-as-usual murder trial. Well, you may not all act noble, but you'll be treated like royalty on this new floor. ...Except by Sheepy, who is still bugging you when you're awake. The strange distortions appear in the air before she shows up before everyone.]

Well I can't speak for everyone. Some of them are pretty happy with how things worked out. There are all types here, I guess.

Like I said, everyone's story is a little different-- but me? It wasn't like I went looking for this. I was just supposed to be helping with some little sleep study. It wasn't supposed to be a big deal.

The people involved in that study... we didn't have any idea what kind of experiment they were really planning.

What sort of sleep study are we talking? Like pharmaceutical, or just being told that a bunch of guys are just going to be checking your circadian rhythms or what?

They were supposed to be testing a drug that induced dreams. And it worked alright. We didn't know it then, but they weren't normal dreams either.

Like if normal is a one on the ten scale, it's at least a solid seven.

It wasn't that different from what they're doing to you guys now. But I guess they probably learned a few things from the last time.

There were a handful at least. But not everyone who survived ended up joining the organization-- although I'm sure it kept in contact with all of them.

[The way she said that infers that it probably wasn't friendly 'how are you doing' type stuff either.]
