Friday

[ You've all done pretty well this week thus far -- this time no one has even seemed to outwardly give the motive much of a blink or two. Given that this has been the case, it probably ran through everyone's minds that no one this week would bother to commit an additional murder based upon motive, especially since it had been already filled with the sea of three bodies added to the pile. Besides, who would kill for something like Power anyway? Psh.

... It wasn't like people had killed their own best friends for power or accidentally unleashed monstrous abominations in their quest for power, right?

Anyway.

As morning dawns once again and people get up...at around 5-6 am or so, for the early risers they may find something quickly, although whether that somethingis something pleasant is another thing entirely. ]

[Well, apparently this is happening, alright. He'll go ahead and follow to check out the cleaning supplies, if the place smells so strongly of it all.]

[So the cleaning supplies are in a corner. There's an open box of plastic gloves, several rolls of paper towels, soaps (of multiple types such as dish soap and hand soap), cloths, a can of bleach...

What stands out as different the most? Well. A mop is nice and wet.]

[oh hey it's leo HOPE YOU DON'T MIND VON KARMA SHOWING UP, TOO. let's look at that mop.]

[That mop sure is wet! You might be able to test it too. But it's clear someone was also into the other cleaning supplies as well. The bleach is almost completely empty.]

[karmauberalles]

...that's the least unexpected thing I've seen here.

[sigh. alright. let's... see if there's anything else. god, don't let there be ammonia or anything.]

[Nothing else is missing. All the other chemicals are as they should be.]

[karmauberalles]

[...right, so let's go back to that mop, then. Does it smell like bleach from a safe distance.]

[parasomniacs]

[Yes. The mop smells predominantly of bleach.]

[karmauberalles]

[that mop really should have ended after the Fake Kakaura Town arc.

Anyway, one last once over to be thorough, and then he'll be off to the mail room!]

[Alright, looking at the can of bleach it's obviously labelled as hydrogen peroxide. So not the type of bleach that generates false positives with luminol...]

[karmauberalles]

[...what the hell, that's new. ...possibly a bit concerning, but it probably would have exploded or something if it was the strong quantities.

doot doot doot, note it down... alright. If that's it for the bleach, then, he'll take another look at the mop to see if he missed anything. How wet is it?]

[That's it for the bleach; there is nothing that could really be observed about the bleach besides its quantity (depleted) and quality (label of hydrogen peroxide).

The wetness of the mop is present all the way through, but not extremely wet to the touch on the external surface. Maybe it's had an hour or more to dry in the air after the main dampening.]

[karmauberalles]

[Alright. let's.... note that down. IS THAT ALL, THEN.]

[parasomniacs]

[ Perhaps, while Von Karma is in the kitchen he should take a look at that rack of knives... ]

[ecdyses]

[ You know, he probably should be doing more intelligence stuff around here. And hey look, knives, one of his favorite things!...well they don't compare to eggs but they're still pretty great.

So just peering at the knife rack first, anything immediately off about it?]

[parasomniacs]

[It smells like dish soap!]

[ecdyses]

[ Just to clarify, some of the knives or the entire knife rack?

Regardless of the answer, after that he'll be inspecting the knives to see if there's dings, or wear and tear from use. Specifically he'll be testing the blade on his thumb to see if it's sharp or dull.]

[ One of the blade's (the chef's knife) is dull! It's definitely been used a lot recently. ]

[ Noted!

And just going to do a final pass of the knife rack + area in general in case there's anything else.]

[ Is he looking at the area the aprons are hanging by... ? ]

[ Yup!
