[ You've all done pretty well this week thus far -- this time no one has even seemed to outwardly give the motive much of a blink or two. Given that this has been the case, it probably ran through everyone's minds that no one this week would bother to commit an additional murder based upon motive, especially since it had been already filled with the sea of three bodies added to the pile. Besides, who would kill for something like Power anyway? Psh.

... It wasn't like people had killed their own best friends for power or accidentally unleashed monstrous abominations in their quest for power, right?

Anyway.

As morning dawns once again and people get up...at around 5-6 am or so, for the early risers they may find something quickly, although whether that somethingis something pleasant is another thing entirely. ]

Not that I can think of off the cuff, but I know I have a far higher tolerance for this kind of thing than most of you do.

The outside cuts on the arms... Do they look like they would've been made with the same type of knife that caused the gut wound? Or something else? And are they on both, and where on the arms? Upper, lower...?]

[A similar wide knife would make sense, these are fairly simple and clean curved lines, but it's harder to tell because these wounds are a lot shallower than the stomach wound. They're on the outside of both his forearms. "Outside" meaning the side that would not be touching his chest if he crossed his arms.]

[lienhearts]

[So in that case, would it be apparent that the victim had his arms up to defend himself against his assailant?]

[ Conchita nods and moves the torso so they can see the back. Is there anything there? ]

[There are chunks missing from his back too. Like the front, but not, because the muscles are different so the shapes are different. So for example there is a chunk cut from each of his hips. It's the same type of neat butchery. Disjointing.]

But they were all there at the start, so... hopefully she kept an eye on it.

[He's already feeling kind of sick from all this, honestly, he doesn't need the extra worries about the quality of his food.]

[ Nepeta wriggles her way through the crowd to get to investigating. Anything about it smell funny? Does it look like it's been cut up like prey? What's the Grinch's expression like?]

The Pouncellor examines the scene of the crime with a disappurroving sigh. The Grinch was a grump but he didn't deserve this.

[There are not strong chemical smells in this area. These are standard cut prey smells; mainly blood, all over the place, and then the more vile smells from his stomach wound. Yes, the Grinch was disjointed; in other words, butchered.

His expression is bitter from exhaustion, resentment, and pain.]
