Friday

[ You've all done pretty well this week thus far -- this time no one has even seemed to outwardly give the motive much of a blink or two. Given that this has been the case, it probably ran through everyone's minds that no one this week would bother to commit an additional murder based upon motive, especially since it had been already filled with the sea of three bodies added to the pile. Besides, who would kill for something like Power anyway? Psh.

... It wasn't like people had killed their own best friends for power or accidentally unleashed monstrous abominations in their quest for power, right?

Anyway.

As morning dawns once again and people get up...at around 5-6 am or so, for the early risers they may find something quickly, although whether that somethingis something pleasant is another thing entirely. ]

Conchita's Room: Lily 233 + Interrogation

[ Conchita's room is open. It's kept rather tidy, with the futon made. There's a supply of snacks in one corner, although they seem to have not been touched yet. There's a set of cloths covered in dirt also in the room, kept separate from her clean clothes. There are also a few other outfits in the pile, all with varying degrees of dirt on them. The dirt is obviously from the garden, and if one didn't know of her hobby, they can guess what it is now: in another corner is a gardening kit. It consists of a pair of trimmers, pruning shears, a gardening knife, some wooden stakes and very thin rope, a hand spade and rake and a watering can. They all look to have been used in the past day. Otherwise, she has several knick-knacks from the gift shop. They largely consist of several glass ornamental pieces of varying animals, although there are some baby clothes and toys tucked away near to the futon.

Conchita herself is in the kitchens helping since she can handle the grossness best, completely unaware she's a suspect. ]

[At least there's no cannibal here right now, nor is there any gross grinch steak to wave in her face. Thank god.

Shingo looks around for a brief moment. The first thing he decides to look at is the gardening kit, since that seems to be recently used, and it has nice sharp implements for cutting up things.]

Neh, Nepeta? D'ya think one of these things mighta been used on that guy?

[ It looks more like they were used for gardening than anything else. ]

Hmmm. Nope. The Victim was purrty clearly butchered. The tools are blood free so they should be A-ok. Excellent idea though!

[Nepeta's gonna rummage through the closet to check if any of the clothes are bloodied, torn, or otherwise show signs of combat.]

The Pouncellor stalks ofur to the clawset to check for any signs of being in a scuffle.

[ The clean clothes are fine, although probably not what anyone would expect Conchita to wear. However, when Nepeta digs through the dirty clothes in a pile on the floor next to the closet, when she lifts the red dress Conchita wore the first two weeks. chloroform falls out--completely unused, it seems. Given the disarray of the pile, it might not have been put there intentionally. ]

[olivefuranotherday]

[Nepeta pauses at the Chloroform, not knowing what it is, but remembering the knife showing up in her room, puts it back.]

The Pouncellor finds a red herring, but othpurrwise finds nothing out of the ordinary. Deciding to mewve on.

[Nepeta puts any clothes she messed with back and heads to the bathroom to see if anything is out of the ordinary.]

[ The bathroom is rather clean and doesn't seem to see much use at all. ]

Nothing suspicious in here! The Pouncellor decides to double check anyway, just to be pawsitive.

[Nepeta's gonna root around any drawers or trash cans in the bathroom, just to be sure.]

[Yeah, boo. Only dirt, no blood. He looks over the knick-knacks next, looking at the little figures. What kind of animals are these, is there anything off about those?]

[voracitas]

[ Swans, bears, horses, dolphins, even what appears to be a boar. But no, nothing's off there. ]

[abysmalactor]

[Huh. What an interesting collection. But, not what he's looking for!]

These things are kinda cute, though...

[Heh. Moving on. He moves on from the table of knick-knacks near the futon, where he spots the baby clothes and toys tucked away near there. Huh?]

...Baby stuff? What the heck would she need that for...?

[Who'd wanna bring a baby in a place like this, anyway?

...Other than Sandra. That woman's a bitch.]

[ The only thing to note is there's a confusing array of pink and blue clothing. However, while the pink clothes don't have words on them and instead just have animal patterns, all of the blue clothes comment about the child being a boy. ]

[abysmalactor]

Uh...? Was she expecting a kid or something...?

[And why would she be so specific about having a boy, anyway? Weird. If there isn't anything weird about those clothes, he's putting them back, but he might submit a note about it later. :S

Anyways, let's look at those snacks! And maybe be slightly tempted to take one for himself. Until he remembers that Conchita is a cannibal. Maybe not.]

[Why. Why does someone he wants to live have to be on every week's suspect list? Never mind that this is only the second time out of two but damn if it isn't two times too many.

He's not really here to investigate as he is to check up on her. Because... AFTER SEEING WHAT WAS IN THE KITCHEN... he had a feeling that her being a suspect wasn't a coincidence.]

They opened your room as well. It looks like the way things are here, they want to make you a suspect as well.

[Ahahaha yeah he doesn't believe it was her. Not a bit. He's actually frustrated it's happening.]

[ Since this is likely after her kitchen adventures... ]

...I'll be plain with you. If I had killed him, there wouldn't be a body to be found.

[ She's surprised to hear she's a suspect at all, although looking at the butchery not entirely when she thinks on it. ]

I thought as much as well. It's more likely someone is trying to use that knowledge about you to try and make it seem that way.

[voracitas]

...Given the nature of this killing, they would have had to know I was a former gourmet to implicate me directly. I don't believe that's actually common knowledge.

[ But now she needs an alibi. ]

...What is needed of me?

Mmm... I'm not sure it was that well thought out as much as you would be the most likely party to make a meal out of him. With every piece accounted for, it does the opposite.

[At least, that's how he sees it.]

Even so, you should clearly tell them what you were doing last night in order to avoid any misconceptions.

I can do that. ...Thank you, by the way. here are few who would think to warn me like this, I feel.

[ You get a rare actual smile. ]

[ It's never a good thing to have to interrogate people he called good acquaintances, but he had to make sure of something just for good. He sighed, approaching her with a bit of a serious look on his face. ]

Lady Conchita. Would I be able to speak to you alone for a moment? There's something I need to confirm.

[voracitas]

Hm? Yes, of course. Where would you like to go?

[ Somewhere alone... Hrm. ]

[anindomitablewill]

Either my room or yours. Whichever you're more comfortable with.

[ His voice is calm, level and even. Letting her know there wasn't any negative intentions for him doing this. ]

[voracitas]

...All right. Let's go to mine.

[ She'll. Lead the way. It doesn't take too long to arrive, and she'll make sure the door is closed behind them. ]

What is it you need?

[ There was absolutely no way of wording this nicely but he would try his best. Please don't hit or bite him for this. ]

Seeing as you've been labeled as one of the suspects, I just need to see if you have any injuries that may or may not be relevant to this murder.

[ A sigh. Hesitating. ]

I personally do not suspect you but i'm making sure there will be more evidence to prove you innocent, instead of guilty. So... my lady, I just need you to... ah... strip down so it's easier to take note of everything or if there are any notable injuries. Nothing more.

[voracitas]

[ She's silent a moment. She had changed from earlier, due to the outfit she began the day in coming in contact with a corpse and needing cleaning. But she will nod after a moment. ]

...Very well.

[ Luckily, she's wearing a simpler outfit now. She peels off the long gloves, and then simply unzips the back before dropping the gown. There are no injuries to be seen. She... Doesn't look 100% comfortable, which is understandable. ]
