Friday

[ You've all done pretty well this week thus far -- this time no one has even seemed to outwardly give the motive much of a blink or two. Given that this has been the case, it probably ran through everyone's minds that no one this week would bother to commit an additional murder based upon motive, especially since it had been already filled with the sea of three bodies added to the pile. Besides, who would kill for something like Power anyway? Psh.

... It wasn't like people had killed their own best friends for power or accidentally unleashed monstrous abominations in their quest for power, right?

Anyway.

As morning dawns once again and people get up...at around 5-6 am or so, for the early risers they may find something quickly, although whether that somethingis something pleasant is another thing entirely. ]

[IT'S AN ABSOLUTE FUCKING DISAS-- no actually it's pretty okay? The bracket text above was just exaggerating. It's definitely a little messy, what with the random games scattered about on the short table, some bags of snacks lying about and an unmade futon, but all things considered it'd probably be just what'd you'd expect from an ordinary high schooler!

Where to first, Yuri?]

[ WELL GOOD TO KNOW you don't live like a hermit does Crow!! Yuri is gonna start is investigating with the random games and the futon. he'll even flip it over to see if there's anything worthwhile.

[The games are just things he looted from the gift shop, nothing special. There are a couple decks of cards because he needs more than one for some reason idk, some dice and a couple of board games laid out, including a chess set! What a classy motherfucker amirite. They're not bloody or full of Grinch bits though, so don't worry about that.

Under the futon, there's... nothing! If this were his room in the Class VII dorms maybe there'd be porn or something but while no one cares that minors drink here they apparently care enough that there aren't any classy magazines lying around.

If Yuri looks towards the closet, it looks like there's something on top?]

so yuri will turn towards the closet and notice the item on top. why don't we go get a better look at what's up there. and in the actual closet while we're at it. ]

Top of the closet, huh? Well congrats, Yuri, you just found a fucking bear trap! It's not even really pushed back so it's hard to see, it's just sitting there because why not? Wanna grab it or just continue to the inside of the closet?]

yuri's not going to pick it up. for now anyways. he wants to investigate the rest of the room before he starts grabbing things. otherwise he's going to have to carry the damn thing around the whole time and frankly that's a pain in the ass when it's just going to sit there if he doesn't. so let's continue on to the inside of the closet. ]

But okay cool, the inside of the closet. Like everyone else, he got provided with some stylish(?) outfits, most of which consist of t-shirts and too many random chains at his belt (like in the style of the leftmost illustration here and the shirts + pants combo when he wears his school uniform). In addition to a couple of more formal shirts and jackets; the outfit he came in originally is also present, although it's folded up and left at the bottom rather than hung up like all the others. In addition, a heart-shaped fire poker is leaning against the inside of the closet as well.

okay so. why does crow think he needs that many belts yuri doesn't know. none of them really stick out to him though except the outfit folded up and left at the bottom. doesn't look like anything is hidden in them though? he'll unfold them and check just in case.

what's most interesting though is the heart-shaped fire poker. did he take that from the ballroom? and again... why does he have it. he'll be having to come back to that, as well.

but enough of the closet. if that's all that's there why don't we go to the bathroom and see if there's anything of interest when he walks in. ]

[Look. Maybe there's a zoo on one of the upper floors i don't know. And if there is and a bear gets loose, you will regret it if you just tossed a bear trap away, okay.

And yup, nothing's hidden in the pockets or anything. It's also clean and not the outfit that was barfed on, so you don't have to worry about second-hand barf contamination or something. and don't diss his belts, he needs them all for reasons

The fire poker is definitely from the ballroom, yup.

When Yuri walks in the bathroom, the first thing he will notice is all the blood painted over the walls-- okay no. It's clear. The shampoo bottle has definitely been left open though. What a slob??]

[ okay but if there's a bear on an upper floor honestly yuri might just punch it. 'cause screw bear traps gonna fight with fists.

he's going to have to ask crow about the fire poker later. but first the bathroom.

so far nothing. except for crow not knowing how to close things?? he'll pick up the shampoo bottle and look for the cap while for anything else around the bathroom. starting from the washlet and eventually pulling the curtains away to look into the shower. ]

[...well actually, that's a better argument than any i could put up for keeping the bear trap. good job, yuri, you win this round. (he'll still be grabbing the trap back when the trial ends though)

The cap's honestly just lying at the sink, because why not. There are a couple of towels hanging from the shower rod too, but there's nothing weird about them and they smell clean! You know, if Yuri feels like being creepy and burying his face in something Crow's used before.

Also, rest assured there are no severed limbs or anything else unusual in the shower. Maybe he needs a new bar of soap though? It looks kinda small.]

[ and when you do yuri will be there to judge you. even more so if you grab the fire poker back, as well.

oh hey there's the cap. well he's just going to put crow's shampoo bottle into the sink too. did you think he was going to put the cap back on for you? nah. he's also definitely not going to be smelling those towels he doesn't want to smell anything that's gotten close to crow's face.

that is a small bar of soap who uses that much soap in a week? yuri sure as hell doesn't. but looks like nothing is too off in the bathroom.

anywhere else he should look he hasn't found that porn stash yet ]

Well. Thanks Yuri. You could've just left the bottle where it was but no, you gotta ruin his room's sweet feng shui by moving shit all over the place for some reason. Also maybe the soap is so small because he actually showers regularly and doesn't live the hobo lifestyle!!

Well, there's the TV stand. There are what looks to be a bunch of envelopes there, actually.]

well don't become a suspect next time and maybe he won't come and move all your shit!! and excuse you just because he lives the hobo lifestyle doesn't mean that he does it smelling dirty! he's gotta have some hygiene just look at his hair.

oh why look at those envelopes he spots as he exits the bathroom. let's see what's inside those. ]

look, it's not his fault they delivered a fucking bear trap into his room okay. he was set up. well with hair that long then he should know how easy it is to go through toiletries in a week!

There's a stack of envelopes that are just empty off to the side, but there's a couple that seem to be bulging a little. If he looks inside one of the open ones, it appears to be... USB keys? From the mail room. There's also a sealed envelope too, and if Yuri feels that one up he can probably come to the conclusion that there are more USBs there too.]

okay but wasn't that in the last bedroom why did he take it with him!! and tbh he does but it's with the shampoo and conditioner mostly okay.

he'll look inside and see them. they were put in as evidence last time weren't they? don't know if there is a point in resubmitting them. the ones in the sealed envelope must be important if it's well ... sealed. he'll go ahead and unseal it just to be sure there's nothing more than the USBs in there.

and with those at least in mind he'll take one more look around to make sure he hadn't overlooked anything. ]

and no, he only got the bear trap this week actually! so he couldn't have locked it in his room even if he really wanted to. (but why would you, let's be honest)

When he unseals the envelope, there are indeed only USBs in there. Are you going to at least seal it back Yuri!! Or tell him that you unsealed it...

But anyways, that's all! Congrats Yuri, you failed to find his porn stash.]

well, crow should not have a bear trap in his room so it's going into evidence. please don't take it out later.

and no he's not going to reseal it in fact he's just gonna leave all the USBs on the TV stand outside of their envelopes. hope you know which USB is which Crow. but at least he's not taking them and putting them into evidence? he actually doesn't know what their purpose is really so he's just gonna leave them there.

well. most of them. he'll take one from the sealed envelope for evidence. but there's no need to take all of them right?

what a disappointment! oh well guess it's time to say he's done with his investigation and maybe ask a few questions. maybe. ]

... okay sure. let's take a look at what we're submitting before we submit it. if it's something he doesn't want to submit he'll just... grab another one yeah. but he's submitting one of these things just so they know he has them in possession? he doesn't exactly have a camera on him like he probably should have gotten.

well fine!!! he's not actually obsessed with it that's just the player being stupid but it's better he has it and doesn't maim someone with it rather than leaving it for anyone to pick up. he actually has more common sense than that.

If Yuri looks at one of the USB keys, he might not get the trend behind all of them, but. They're all footage relating to Mira's death. Probably a little morbid, but not entirely unusual, either, if one's looking for closure.
