Friday

[ You've all done pretty well this week thus far -- this time no one has even seemed to outwardly give the motive much of a blink or two. Given that this has been the case, it probably ran through everyone's minds that no one this week would bother to commit an additional murder based upon motive, especially since it had been already filled with the sea of three bodies added to the pile. Besides, who would kill for something like Power anyway? Psh.

... It wasn't like people had killed their own best friends for power or accidentally unleashed monstrous abominations in their quest for power, right?

Anyway.

As morning dawns once again and people get up...at around 5-6 am or so, for the early risers they may find something quickly, although whether that somethingis something pleasant is another thing entirely. ]

[ He can do that! He'll just wander around, walking a little slower than usual, until he gets to the kitchen.

Ooh, he's got goosebumps. In a bad way. ]

Well then, does he, perchance take a look towards the knife rack... ? ]

[ He does! That might as well be one of the first things he checks. Every killer went with the knife, right?

Can he use his ECHO eye to look for some things? ]

[ ... That may be a good idea to be able to find out which knife stands out for the rest. Granted, this mod knows little about impact points of objects, but the big Chef's knife has the most of them...in the sense if Rhys is able to tell, it was used relatively recently against something. And even if he wasn't, there is a good amount of them upon the knife anyway.

Also, since he is examining the knife up so close anyway, it can be noticed it is wet. Like perhaps it had been recently washed. ]

[ Alrighty, he's gonna boot it up!

He can't do anything fancy like scan for DNA or prints or whatever, but he's able to tell that there's something off about that knife there. Of course, it has to be the big giant one, because every sicko killer would use that one! His eye picks up some weird moisture levels, and sure enough with the help of the cameras, he can see a few beads of moisture at the top.

Interesting.

He'll reach over and attempt to pick it up. Could it be mere coincidence that this thing just happened to be washed not too long ago, when there was a murder going on? ]

[ Odd, isn't it?

Either way, the other knives around it are even dry in comparison. So perhaps that can lead Rhys to a certain conclusion. Well, better to take note of it! ]

[ And note it he will.

Should he go ahead and turn it in as evidence? Unless there were two knives used! ]

[ Yep he should!

He should probably only note just the one chef's knife in the evidence. The others aren't relevant. ]

[ Done and done! They'll find this heathen yet! ]
