Friday

[ Another week has come and gone-- albeit with a great deal of excitement. It wouldn't be strange if by the end of the week you had nearly forgotten the week's new motive altogether with everything that's been going on since the middle of the week. But even if you did, that didn't make it go away. It was still there. Waiting. For just one person to give it the proper consideration.

...had someone decided that one person's life was worth erasing to get rid of another?

It no longer seems so crazy, does it?

As another morning dawns, people will rise-- perhaps with every intention of going about their daily routines same as always. But somewhere, a surprise is waiting to be discovered. But what oh what will they find this time? Just maybe it won't be so bad. Or maybe it will. ]

[Sawatari's room is...surprisingly very neat. It almost looks like it was practically unused: the bed is made, nothing seems out of place...huh. Not what you'd expect from a typical teenage boy, huh?]

Which is why it's time to tear it apart with a thorough search, checking under the covers, under the beds, under tables, on tables, in closets-- basically, he'll be thoroughly examining everything he can get his hands on in there.

Not like Sawatari needs any of this anymore, right?]

[Wow, rude.

Anyways, the bed seems fine and looks like it was made only recently, there's nothing under the bed or tables, the closet is full of neatly pressed and hung and/or folded clothes (seriously, either the kid barely touched any of these or his folding skills are phenomenal), and the bedside drawer is...

...Huh. Actually, there's a haphazardly stacked deck of Duel Monsters cards in there.]

[So this is what the hell he found okay then.

Anything weird about the cards?]

[Well, they all seem relatively untouched and clean...except for this card in the middle of the stack, which has a few flecks of blood splattered on it. Hm.]

[That's...

Concerning.

He'll take the whole deck, but he'll keep that one separate from the rest, sticking it in a plastic bag he's brought along for this kinda business.

How's the bathroom look?]

[The bathroom is clean, although it does smell slightly of shampoo. The shower is wet, as if had been used recently. The knick-knacks on the sink (toothbrush, hair gel, etc.) all seem to have been used recently as well. Other than that, nothing out of the ordinary!]

[Morning showers for this kid too, then. Alright.

Well, given there's no one to interrogate, it's time to get back to the mail room!]
