[ Another week has come and gone-- albeit with a great deal of excitement. It wouldn't be strange if by the end of the week you had nearly forgotten the week's new motive altogether with everything that's been going on since the middle of the week. But even if you did, that didn't make it go away. It was still there. Waiting. For just one person to give it the proper consideration.

...had someone decided that one person's life was worth erasing to get rid of another?

It no longer seems so crazy, does it?

As another morning dawns, people will rise-- perhaps with every intention of going about their daily routines same as always. But somewhere, a surprise is waiting to be discovered. But what oh what will they find this time? Just maybe it won't be so bad. Or maybe it will. ]

[Oh. That's an easy one. After all, Noe had been quite excited about the conversation.]

Earlier this week. He was explaining to me how one plays Duel Monsters. It's a card game from his world. That was the last I spoke with him. But I'm sure I saw him at the meeting regarding Hazama as well.

[ Dammit Noé. Stop being so cute.

Nodding firmly at this, he took note of the attitude in which he regarded Shingo with when he spoke of him before considering the next point of interest, so to speak. ]

I see. What about where you were last night and this morning?

[ He's doing a good job at keeping things serious for what it's worth, wanting it done sooner than later so he could relax a bit easier. ]

[He thinks back and goes through a basic re-telling. He'd already told Shelley but he wanted Vanitas to know too as well. Besides-- she hadn't asked about the night before. The more information he could provide, the better.]

Last night I was in the pool before bed-- this morning I was in my room reading when the announcement went off. That's when I went to see what was happening.

[ It's a little harder to have this as a solid alibi but it's something; better than nothing. Noé's always been incredibly honest from what he knows of him, after all. ]

I know it's harder to discern because of the nature of being a vampire, you haven't received any recent injuries, have you? [ His serious composure slips and he can't help but smile in that almost teasing, sneering way of his. ] I mean.. unless you want to strip and show me that you bear no injuries or anything.

[ Totally not sorry. Nope. ]

[ W-WHY DID THE CONVERSATION SUDDENLY BECOME. THIS??? No... he knows it's happened before with other investigations, it's just-- at that time it wasn't him. And not even just that... if it were just anyone, he wouldn't particularly care a great deal but when it's Vanitas it's just...

That face of his isn't helping. ]

...why do you always have to say things in a way that makes me want to hit you?

[ This is serious!! Mostly. Except for the part of this that is kind of about him being embarrassed to strip in front of someone he likes. ]

F-fine. It's necessary for the investigation anyway, right? Just... close the door behind you.

[ Before he changes his mind and asks for someone else to do this. ]

[ He's allowed to be ridiculous, okay? Being here's taken away a lot of his normal spark so he has to do what he can where he's able to; plus what's life without being able to tease the one he likes?

Though he is somewhat surprised that Noé actually does agree to it, blinking mutely from surprise before moving over to the door and shutting it behind him so it would be just the two of them right now. ]

All things aside, it is for the sake of the investigation as surely there'd be some evidence left on you from some kind of injury if there was one at all. I just want to make sure.
