Week 6
Week 6

Monday - Thursday
[ There is a particularly somber atmosphere in the quiet hotel. The day before ended with a terrible miscalculation and an innocent life lost in the name of the “experiment”. Emotions certainly ran high and it would not be strange for those effects to linger into the dawn of the new week. Until now they had successfully determined and executed three other murderers. But the fourth got away. They may not want to face the future yet—but the experiment stops for nothing.
The opening of a new wing would probably be of little solace to them. But it's not long before they are granted a small distraction.
Early Monday morning -- before they’ve even had a chance to properly examine the new floor and it’s rooms -- a text announcement arrives, following a small jingle. The sound is new; different from the announcement tones used during the investigation last week. It’s just as loud and persistent, but there’s an annoying set of four repeated notes in a pattern that lazily imitates a song assigned to this notification.]
Hello participants.
I hope you are doing well this morning and are well rested for the day ahead. There will be a meeting held in the lobby fifteen minutes from now. You will all be required to attend. Any person who is absent will be appropriately hunted down and brought to the meeting place by whatever means necessary. An important change has been made to the experimental proceedings, of which you must all now be made well aware.
See you all in fifteen minutes.

LOBBY - ANNOUNCEMENT
When the clock strikes the appointed time, however-- something in the air around them seems to shift. For just a split second, it's almost as if the shapes of the room around them don't quite match up, as if you're looking at everything through tired, dizzy or sick eyes and it's all out of focus. But it's quickly remedied and soon everything looks like it's back to normal.
But what WAS that? ]
Goooooood morning everyone!
[ Well THAT'S not Sandra. But the voice may not be entirely unfamiliar either. ]
Wow, what a colorful bunch we have here! Since this is our first meeting-- please call me Sheepy. I'm from the independent investigation agency. Formerly I was your Trial Supervisor, but from now on I'll be enforcing the rules of this experiment in both the Waking World and the Dream World! So please don't forget-- I don't want to punish anyone on my first week on the job! Aaaaanyway-- [ The sheep smiles widely. ] It's nice to meet you all~
Oh yeah! And starting this week, we're doing away with the whole USB thing. It's just such a hassle-- Which brings me to my next point... Tsk, tsk, tsk-- there are some naughty, naughty cheaters here. Why is it that you guys haven't caught those shooters yet, hmmm? I'm pretty sure there's more than one. You're still a part of the experiment. But it's high time the rest of you stopped waiting for them to come get you and take care of them.
...but if any one of you messes with my cameras again-- You. Won't. Like. What. Happens. 🎶
[ But suddenly Sheepy brightens up again. ]
Follow the rules and we can all be great friends! Since this is new and all I thought I should bring you all a gift! I hope you liiiiike it.
[ Sheepy's "gift" is a video tape. She pulls out a little television and pops it in-- jumping up and sitting on the TV with a thing of popcorn she also produced from-- wherever. If you take a look... what's on the screen is a view of Sandra. From the looks of her, it was taken late Thursday or early Friday, because the signs of the poisoning are highly evident. As it proceeds, the true meaning of the tape becomes clear.
Sandra is dead ]
It's good right? This is what you wanted, isn't it?
[ The sheep certainly seems pleased with herself. ]
Things weren't so good yesterday but I know you'll do better this week~ So! Now-- I guess if you have any questions, now's the time! Or maybe since we're all strangers, why don't we get to know each other better~?
no subject
[Shelley steeples her fingers, considering what she was seeing]
Was it the poison or was it something else?
[Did you kill the evil doctor, Sheepy? Did you?]
no subject
[Although Sheepy can't say much about that because she didn't know any of you then-- including the one that died of poison.]
Awwwwwfully sad way to go. But where she is now, there will be plenty of time for counting sheep~

Why do ya think there's more than one gunner?
[Listen, semantics and shit aren't with him right now. He just wants answers and he probably likes this sheep less than Miss Sandra, but who the fuck cares right now.]
no subject
[WHAT HAPPENED TO MANNERS?]
Like I said-- I'm Sheepy.
[But she'll forgive your rudeness because you seem to be interested in something she's very interested in.]
The movements of everyone here have been monitored from the beginning by my agency. The actions taken at certain points do not seem as though they could possibly belong to one person. Timing reasons-- you know~? Besides that... we can think of a few people who might have their own reasons for wanting to get a hand in on things.
But we won't allow that, no... I'm going to keep everything running smoothly by the rules~

[ No he's not bothering to keep his voice down any. His arms are crossed over his chest and he doesn't seem at all phased by everything Sheepy's said and done. Especially considering Sandra was apparently dead and they were left with this little... thing in her place. ]
Tell me, Sheepy. Are you viewing all of this as some kind of sick game?
[ Considering just how done he is with all of this mess, this kind of annoys him a bit. ]
no subject
OH ARE WE YELLING?! 'cause I can yell too!!!
[Something says it wouldn't be pleasant if she got really mad though.]
And of course not, silly. This isn't a game-- it's an experiment. But that doesn't mean we can't have fun.

It's all juuuuuuuust a dream~ Close your eyes and everything will be juuuuust the way you remember it when you wake up~
[...]
Just kidding! This is fucking reality knocking. The Mastermind sent me to look out for you, so here I am. Nice to meet you~
[And she says the f-word oh so sweetly. It's like angels singing-- if you were on a really bad drug high. Then yeah, this is what your angels would look and sound like.]

Why? Why did you let her die?!
[ There was so much she wanted to ask Sandra. She'd suspected the doctor wasn't in charge of this experiment and had said as much at one point or another, but... what were her reasons for doing this...? What forced this woman to go along with such a plan. Yukino had so desperately wanted to know. ]
And Lady Ciel? The other personnel? Have you - [ She stops, swallowing. ] ... Have you let them die, too?
no subject
[Jeez, Yukino. Don't be so dramatic!]
Anyway, it's not like I even killed her. I just got here and processed all of the data... I'm not the one who hated her so much they wanted her dead. That's more like the people in the experiment, don'cha think?
(no subject)
no subject
Wow??
He kind of hates you and he doesn't even know you??? And why are you taunting them by showing them Sandra's death? Dammit, this sheep sucks! ] Nope, nevermind. I don't care.
Answer this instead. What makes you think any of us are going to listen to you?
