[ Another week, another death... with last week's mistake still fresh in their minds, how will they fare this time around? Will the weight of it crush them or will they find themselves refined into sharp, clear diamonds? An answer is nigh-- because once more an eerie silence fills the hotel. That feeling that something's just not right may be familiar to them by now. They may sense it...

...that someone had decided that there is an injustice in the world worth killing for.

Although it may take them some time to deduce this-- they will find that the source of the ground and first floor levels of the hotel. It is not immediately obvious but some may get the sense that they are being watched. No doubt Sheepy will be watching them during their investigation and making sure things go by the books. ]

[ Mikami is in his room sitting hunched over on his couch and mostly staring at the floor. Come bug the man. ]

Not so much honesty as it is straightforwardness a lot of the time, but I've also got a vested interest in not seeing everything go straight to shit at the moment.

Why don't we start with what you were up to last night? With times if possible, if you don't fuckin' know then humor me and approximate. You know how this goes.

[ There is a pause - it's not really for collecting his thoughts, though. Mikami knows full well where he's been last night, as he's been every night before. It's just that he childishly does not want to follow Top Dollar's demand immediately. ]

At 9pm I started my usual evening check round. I began by saying goodnight to Aki-chan and then went down to from the first floor to the ground floor and then from floor 2 back up to the current one as I usually do. Nothing struck me as unusual then. By 10pm I was in bed.

I slept through the entire night. By 6am I woke up and got dressed, starting my morning check round around 6:40am. I managed to finish looking through the first floor before the body announcement came in. In response I headed to my room and have been here since.

[This is why he doesn't give you alibis, he just sits there like a petulant child until someone chases him down and makes him give one, and then he gives it verbally and refuses to write anything down because fuck you.

The habit began when we still only had two floors accessible to us. Back then, I started from my room on the first floor.

I've only kept that pattern and added to it in later weeks.

The other thing I'm wondering is why you came back here immediately - you have a reason to think you'd be a suspect today?

The same as Leo last week. I received an item and all previous suspects have had the same happen to them.

[ 'The same as Leo' is probably not a good omen right now, all things considered, but oh well. ]

[That's an unfair question, probably, and he damn well knows it, but seriously, fuck the motives? Because they work for some reason.]

[ Cameras are indeed... pretty damn terrible to Mikami and he rolls his eyes at that comment. ]

[No, that's actually...it's not telling, exactly, but it's interesting, and his expression goes kind of strange for a brief moment before he shakes it off, fussing a little with his gloves as he does so.]

[ There is a look of hesitance, then a sigh of resignation. ]

[ And then he uncomfortably takes off his clothes (not the boxer shorts). His naked body is completely free of recent injury. Faded cigarette burn scars on his hands and some other less specific very small very faded scars are the only signs of injury on his body at all. The only other thing that's notable about him is that he has good abs. Yeah.

If Crow also wants to search the pockets of what Mikami is currently wearing, there is his room card as well as a few empty evidence bags.

He'll get dressed again as fast as possible, this is humiliating and uncomfortable - as always. ]

[Damn, those are some fine abs tho?? ...Wait why is he checking out Mikami like this. But yeah, if there are no recent injuries on his body then he's good. Still, he'll make to check Mikami's head and neck to make sure his hair isn't covering anything.

The pockets and such are okay, and if there's nothing inside the shoes, he's good to go!]

[ The hair is not covering anything at all! ... well, except for a neck. Mikami has one of those.

Shoes are empty when Mikami's feet are not in them. ]

[ She comes after everyone else has left, knocking softly on his open door. Her eyes are red, but at least she's not crying anymore. ]
