Friday

[ Another week, another death... with last week's mistake still fresh in their minds, how will they fare this time around? Will the weight of it crush them or will they find themselves refined into sharp, clear diamonds? An answer is nigh-- because once more an eerie silence fills the hotel. That feeling that something's just not right may be familiar to them by now. They may sense it...

...that someone had decided that there is an injustice in the world worth killing for.

Although it may take them some time to deduce this-- they will find that the source of the ground and first floor levels of the hotel. It is not immediately obvious but some may get the sense that they are being watched. No doubt Sheepy will be watching them during their investigation and making sure things go by the books. ]

[Golly, a journal. May as well commit do some flagrant snooping and look for, who knows, proof of bad blood towards Sting! Shelley tells herself that while opening the journal]

[Like last week (not that Shelley knows this), the front part of the journal is a list of names. Some are clearly the other people here and others (all female names) are not. Some names are crossed out, including all the people who have previously died here. Sting is not crossed out. There are two hearts, one next to Estelle Bright and one next to a Kureha Tsubaki.

The back pages are mostly just poor doodles of random things one would find in a forest.

However, there are a few journal entries. None talk about Sting but she does seem to have been feeling a little bored lately.]

So she loved Estelle...

[Yeah, surely that was it. There's no sign of references to Sting around, unfortunately, so Shelley closes the journal and tries to make it look like she didn't take it. The part about being bored seems important enough to remember, though.

The closet shouldn't have anything too out of place, she supposes, but it's always a good idea to check]

[Mitsuko is still outside (but she could have heard that). Still, thank you for not taking it, Shelley!

She, apparently, didn't learn her lesson last week and you have found raunchy yuri manga. But the clothes seem pretty normal and not out of place.]

[At least she had the decency of keeping her raunchy reading material hidden away. Thanks for that, Mitsuko. Shelley isn't going to touch that, that's for sure..

There's one more place she'd like to check, though: the bathroom. She hasn't heard much about the murder itself, but if it involved blood then it's possible the culprit could have showered in the room, right? It's worth giving a glance, she thinks]

[Thank you, Shelley. This makes you a dozen times better than Crow.

The bathroom is... strangely unused. Though, maybe that's not a surprise considering Mitsuko usually uses the public baths. The shower looks bone dry.]

...I suppose bears don't take baths.

[Yeah, she's not aware of the public bath habits of anyone, being the one place she refused to check the cameras of, hah. Shelley writes a short note on her notepad to add to the list of evidence, makes sure to be carrying the stun camera, and leaves the room, waving at Mitsuko on the way out. You seem to be on the clear, young gal, but the part about being bored is a bit concerning, in Shelley's opinion. Don't be the killer!]
