[ Another week, another death... with last week's mistake still fresh in their minds, how will they fare this time around? Will the weight of it crush them or will they find themselves refined into sharp, clear diamonds? An answer is nigh-- because once more an eerie silence fills the hotel. That feeling that something's just not right may be familiar to them by now. They may sense it...

...that someone had decided that there is an injustice in the world worth killing for.

Although it may take them some time to deduce this-- they will find that the source of the ground and first floor levels of the hotel. It is not immediately obvious but some may get the sense that they are being watched. No doubt Sheepy will be watching them during their investigation and making sure things go by the books. ]

Even with the non-interference code, there's bound to be friction between organizations in some form.

[ Erebonia was no exception, whether it was among the imperial or the provincial armies. The country's military was already a mess even without the guild's presence complicating things further. ]

...I still can't believe it. First Estelle... and now Father Kevin too. It's just...

[ In less than a week, even. Rean almost couldn't believe how quickly everything had happened - first he was investigating Kevin's involvement in Hazama's murder, then they lost Estelle and Albert... and now? Kevin was gone too. It was happening way too fast for Rean, and he wasn't sure how to handle it.

Vanitas won't find anything off about Conchita's tools, aside from them possibly being a little dirty. Though that wouldn't look too out of place given Rean was seen with them only yesterday. ]

Naturally. If there wasn't i'd be quite surprised.

[ So much death. He'd be lying if he said he didn't feel anything for that Kevin had died recently, as the man did seem good for the most part and he usually headed a lot of the investigations and stuff, plus the funeral services he always did went appreciated by many here. ]

...A bit much? Yeah. It's almost beyond my comprehension how in little over a month, we've lost quite the number of memorable people here. Let alone the past week.

[ That's putting it lightly. Vanitas's tone holds a lot of weight to how he feels with this mess, but he decides to focus more on inspecting the tools, seeing if there was anything unusual about their appearance aside from the use yesterday. That's only prior to when he moves to check out that box so he can give the bear-trap a good look to see if it's been used at all or anything like that.

If there isn't, he'll likely be moving onto the beds next. ]

Yeah... No matter what, we need to stop this twisted experiment.

[ Nothing especially stands out about Rean's bed at first glance... aside from the print it seems to have. Looks to be a children's mascot character of some sort. Is that a cat?

Nothing off about the bear trap either! Aside from Rean dreading the fact Crow might implement this one and his own bear trap into something incredibly dumb... like dual wielding them. But while we're looking at the box, Vanitas will find some selfies! There's a lot of them; enough to fill up the whole box, in fact. ]

Agreed. The sooner the better. Before any more good people end up dying.

[ In which he includes mostly Noé as if he loses him, he'd just be so done with this place and it's stupid experiment. So. Done. Though he can't help the small snicker when he discovered all those selfies, as some of them seemed at a glance quite amusing.

When he gets to the bed, Vanitas leans down to get a better look at the cute print and then a look shot back in Rean's direction before promptly moving to look under the bed to see if there was anything of note. If not, he'll be heading over to look at the kitchenette area.. ]

[ He sees that wily look, Vanitas!! He sees you judging his bedsheets and he's sighing a most exasperated sigh!! ]

...Look, it's not like I picked those out.

[ Nothing unusual on, under, or in between Rean's bed, fortunately! Upon checking out the kitchenette Vanitas will find... that Rean apparently does his own cooking! He seems to have mastered the art of cooking with a hot plate anyway, if the ingredients as well as the pots and pans found in his cabinets say anything. He really seems to like teriyaki flavored stuff... Not to mention, there's some tea set aside as well.

Also, there's teriyaki chips in those cabinets too. Good job, you found his secret stash. You want some, Vanitas?! ]
