[Despite earnest intentions to the contrary, last week had a business-as-usual murder trial. Well, you may not all act noble, but you'll be treated like royalty on this new floor. ...Except by Sheepy, who is still bugging you when you're awake. The strange distortions appear in the air before she shows up before everyone.]

[ Mikami really doesn't look like he wants to be here, but his expression goes more neutral every time Aki looks to his corner. It's easy to tell he is only there because he somehow wound up promising it to her... Hit him with your best shot, the chance won't come again. ]

[Aki likewise has a different smile reserved for Mikami - it's less wide, which when you think about it is precisely what suggests that she's more sincere, not in spite of but because of. She looks like a cat evaluating the reaction of her human to the gift of a dead rat. The repulsion is still a form of fascination that will bind them closer together, a desirable outcome.

Fear is eventually not enough. There must be an actual challenge, which cannot occur without a recorded preference. Aki leans across the tables.]

Mr. Mikami... truth or dare?

[ This is like choosing his own method of execution... Though Mikami's considerations about what to pick wind up being rather brief. There is not a lot he has to hide, but there are a lot of humiliating things he's already had to do since being kidnapped, so he's not keen on adding one more to the list. ]

[Admittedly it's a setup for "Mikami is so boring" but hey. At least it's not. More unflattering than his actual life.]

[ The word is said with the utmost caution. After seeing the whole Conchita dress stunt, Mikami is pretty sure he doesn't want to ever be on the receiving end of a Crow dare. ]

[You chose wisely, Mikami, because he wouldn't have minded a repeat of Monday and Tuesday but with a different victim. With that said, it's probably now going to be a game of "how awkward can I make Mikami feel", although maybe he should start off with a simple question to ease him into things?]

[ Mikami thinks for a moment because there really is nothing he particularly wondering about out of personal curiosity and he is not about to turn investigating into a farce by doing it now... but one thing... certainly sticks out after The Dress Deal. ]

[Thankfully for Aki, Crow doesn't know her well enough to tell the difference between her expressions so she's safe on that front, at least. BUT UH, HE SURE ISN'T DOING A GOOD JOB AT PROTECTING THE KIDS LIKE MERCILESS ASKED OF HIM, HUH...

They are words older people use for 'active' and passive' - it's largely relevant to dating, so it won't concern you for another few years.
