Monday - Thursday

[Despite earnest intentions to the contrary, last week had a business-as-usual murder trial. Well, you may not all act noble, but you'll be treated like royalty on this new floor. ...Except by Sheepy, who is still bugging you when you're awake. The strange distortions appear in the air before she shows up before everyone.]

[She sounds a fascimile of guileless but afterwards her face falls into a fresh bout of sadness. Aki whispers:]

She wanted... to remember me.... [The sadness surges a second time; tears begin to pour forth from her eyes.] She wanted me to remember her, too...

[ This has happened before, but Mikami always goes through a moment of helplessness when he sees Aki cry, just freezing up, unsure how to work with it. He has, however, learned since the first time it happened.

So after his momentary hesitation is over, he sinks into a crouch to put his hands on Aki's shoulder in a more even level. ]

You'll best remember her as she always was. It's better for friends and family to not see their loved ones in... this state of peril.

[ His fingers brush over her shoulder here in a way that he at least wildly guesses is comforting. ]
