Ten participants wake up in the participant staff rooms this morning. It's the first Friday in a while that there isn't a decrease in their numbers - though not without other costs: Two of the hostages have been lost. There's still that last motive hanging over their heads, an unconventional one. Can they handle the challenge?

[She can touch the cat. It feels like a cat.








Is any cat friendly?]

[ FROM SOMEONE WHO HAS A CAT VYING FOR HER ATTENTION AS SHE TYPES THIS, YES, THEY CAN BE FRIENDLY!!!

She will try to pet the cat after giving it her hand to sniff, then....provided she does not get scratched she will just keep petting it while she looks around.

....it's cute, okay? ]

[The cat does not scratch her. It leans into her gentle touch very slightly but does not meow.]

[ Excellent. If kitty does not mind, she will pick it up and continue to pet it as she pokes around at the monitor controls.

Is there any way to change what prints in these things? ]

[There is a command line like a text adventure game. The previous commands are all these distinct sequences of twenty-one numbers.

Typing in shorter sequences of numbers gets just a response of "INVALID INPUT".]

[respring]

[ ....huh. Sakura looks around at the others for just a second before inputting a completely random string of 21 numbers. Does it print anything? She hopes it's something innocuous but also does not expect it, um. ]

[devilsnight]

[and then there's this asshole from across the room.]

...Hey, Sakura, if you're seeing a bunch of numbers - either remember that last one or do me a favor and create at least ten more cats before you move on. I'll catch 'em later.

[respring]

[ oh my god ]

Um, sure...I'll write it down in the mail room.

[ She's not sure she wants to enable more cat-printing but he did ask nicely, so. What the hell. ]

[The new sequence prints out a scrabble competition trophy.]

[respring]

[ o h . . .

Sakura takes the trophy out and puts in another random sequence of numbers. Just making sure it's not a fluke, and she'll be satisfied. ]

[She gets a tin of cards.]

[ Hmm. Well, alrighty. Sakura takes the cards with her and goes to regroup. ]
