Friday

[ You've all done pretty well this week thus far -- this time no one has even seemed to outwardly give the motive much of a blink or two. Given that this has been the case, it probably ran through everyone's minds that no one this week would bother to commit an additional murder based upon motive, especially since it had been already filled with the sea of three bodies added to the pile. Besides, who would kill for something like Power anyway? Psh.

... It wasn't like people had killed their own best friends for power or accidentally unleashed monstrous abominations in their quest for power, right?

Anyway.

As morning dawns once again and people get up...at around 5-6 am or so, for the early risers they may find something quickly, although whether that somethingis something pleasant is another thing entirely. ]

LAUNDRY ROOM (DRYER + DETERGENT)

[ Attached are photos of the detergent and the lint trap found inside the dryer. ]

Crow and I had a look inside the laundry room. We found a bottle of detergent sitting on top of the washing machine; I'd say about a quarter of it was actually used.

We also had a look at the dryers and it looks like someone's recently used one of those as well if the lint we found inside is anything to go by. The last time we checked was right around when I helped Alexia with her laundry yesterday. As for the washing machine itself, Father Kevin had a closer look at it so I would check with him on that.

[ It's never a good thing to have to interrogate people he called good acquaintances, but he had to make sure of something just for good. He sighed, approaching her with a bit of a serious look on his face. ]

Lady Conchita. Would I be able to speak to you alone for a moment? There's something I need to confirm.

[voracitas]

Hm? Yes, of course. Where would you like to go?

[ Somewhere alone... Hrm. ]

BUTCHERING: OPINION

The killer is likely someone who has a good background in actually cooking. There seems to be some degree of skill to the butchery, although how much I cannot say for my own lack of experience with anything except the results of such. Perhaps the murderer has a background in hunting or butchering.

Either my room or yours. Whichever you're more comfortable with.

[ His voice is calm, level and even. Letting her know there wasn't any negative intentions for him doing this. ]

...All right. Let's go to mine.

[ She'll. Lead the way. It doesn't take too long to arrive, and she'll make sure the door is closed behind them. ]

[ There was absolutely no way of wording this nicely but he would try his best. Please don't hit or bite him for this. ]

Seeing as you've been labeled as one of the suspects, I just need to see if you have any injuries that may or may not be relevant to this murder.

[ A sigh. Hesitating. ]

I personally do not suspect you but i'm making sure there will be more evidence to prove you innocent, instead of guilty. So... my lady, I just need you to... ah... strip down so it's easier to take note of everything or if there are any notable injuries. Nothing more.

[voracitas]

[ She's silent a moment. She had changed from earlier, due to the outfit she began the day in coming in contact with a corpse and needing cleaning. But she will nod after a moment. ]

...Very well.

[ Luckily, she's wearing a simpler outfit now. She peels off the long gloves, and then simply unzips the back before dropping the gown. There are no injuries to be seen. She... Doesn't look 100% comfortable, which is understandable. ]

[ Once she'd dropped the gown, Vanitas nodded and moved to walk around her with calculating eyes just scanning for any sort of injury whatsoever. When he didn't find anything, he stopped and bowed his head with eyes closed. ]

Thank you, my lady. I apologize for how uncomfortable that must have made you feel just now.

[ Seriously. He means it. Hence the bowing part, which is also meant to serve in giving her a bit of privacy again so she can put her gown back on. ]

I hope you're not upset with me.

...No. It's understandable. There's reason to search me, if I am a suspect. Any injuries would look bad, and as I have nothing to hide...

[ She's. Pulling her dress back on. ]

I can confirm the parts where he was with Alexia and myself. Crow was with us the entire time until we split up around 9 PM. In addition to that, I went to Crow's room around 5:45 AM to wake him up. He was with me the entire morning.

I conducted a strip search on Lady Conchita and she bore no evidence of any physical injuries whatsoever. Nothing else about her seemed overly amiss, either.

STRIP SEARCH RESULT: CROW ARMBRUST

[ Well, after finding out he just stripped his senpai for absolutely nothing, he'll post the results (the link included below which is also rather spoilery as a heads up) written in neat handwriting below. ]

So, I went ahead and conducted a strip search on Crow. I didn't find anything out of the ordinary; he had no injuries or marks on him that looked recent or relevant to the case.

Typical teenager crap everywhere. Comic books and figurines and stuff.
Some injuries on the kid, but nothing more recent than a few days ago.
Said he got jumped on by Nepeta on Tuesday. Checked with Nepeta afterwards to see how true that was. She confirmed the story, said it was part of a game she was playing.
No blood on any of his clothes.
No weapons in the room, makeshift or otherwise.
Nothing else of value or interest anywhere in the room.

[ He's only been awake for a few hours, but this morning felt like an eternity of staring at a chopped-up green fuzzy man. Mikami's been doing well at pretending to be able to stomach it for a while but enough is enough and even he needs a break.

Nothing sounds less appealing than breakfast right now, yet he finds himself in the ballroom. And look, there's Aki. It's nice to not see her around a crime scene for once. ]
