Execution for Week 7
Week 7 ‹ Execution ›

Sunday

Sunday
victims

scapegoat

Once everyone has placed their votes in, the trial finally comes to a close. The dream scenery fades from everyone's sight into the oblivion that comes with those sleeping, and the world of the waking materializes in front of everyone as they wake. The tablet beeps obnoxiously with the words urging them all to head to the Ballroom. Once they all gather into the ballroom, the irritating beeping noise stops and the doors close shut behind all of the participants. The room is much more than large enough to fit all the participants, considering so few of them are left, and yet it still feels claustrophobic, perhaps because the robots from Keenan's execution, the lions who executed Nepeta, and the small monsters that executed Leo, are still here.
...Although everyone will notice that Crow is already within the Ballroom before they even entered. Jesus Christ, is he armed?

Crow's Remarks and Responses

[He's standing by with his double saber in hand and sniper rifle. It's up to you how close you want to get to him, although he's not making any aggressive movements at the moment.]
no subject
...So. Favors.
You passing on that, or you gonna hold me to it?
no subject
[He'll pull a note out of his pocket.]
You said you wanted to try 'em out, right? Here's your chance.
no subject
...Yeah, got it.

[ Well. He's not in a great mood because christ. You were one of the people he liked here and their fun shenanigans on Monday were unforgettable! What happened to all the fun selfies and the crossdressing stuff?! ]
You BOTH officially lost your damn minds.

[He's still holding his weapon, but... he's not making a move to put it up or anything. Crow's willing to give a freebie here, don't miss your chance, Vanitas!]
But maybe you just never knew me as well as you thought you did.
no subject
That's probably true. You have me outdone in having an impeccable poker face and managing to lie to us all about what was going on with you... I was certainly fooled.
[ Vanitas's tone is dark, angry and almost hurt here. So many feelings. ]
I still think you both are fools. You're actually okay with giving up your life for something he did?

[ Rean looks away, quietly putting his tachi back in its sheath. If not for the fact Crow was dying, he seemingly looks pretty resigned to his fate. ]
Do what you will.
no subject
There was the option to hit someone and he took it. Have a punch to the left side of your face, Rean. ]
Damn right you don't deserve it. Just how many lives have you taken here?
[ He hates feelings make them stop already. ]
That day I found you with Conchita's gardening tools... I thought it was odd how you had them but I didn't question it. Clearly I should have.

So after a moment of pause while he considers exactly what would be appropriate to say in a situation like this...]
Whoops~! ☆
[REALLY YEAGER]

[Considering it had looked bad there for a second...]

[Probably. Prrrrobably.]

[ The most Crow is getting from Mikami is a tired look and this one comment. There were things he had to say originally, but he kind of ran out of all of them now. He's just... in the corner of the room, observing.
There also are things he could say about having voted wrong, but nothing really comes to mind anymore. This isn't justice. This isn't justice at all. He wants to go home. ]

[He'll close his eyes for a bit and for a moment, he looks almost... serene. The smirk isn't present, the only thing visible in his face is acceptance of what's to come. He's not planning on weaseling his way out of this one.]

[ Duke just observes from his spot, and he likely has nothing else to say as of the moment (or rather cannot think of anything that can be said). As per the usual, his expression is still, although he's not exactly looking at Crow here just yet (more like looking a little past him). ]
no subject
Heh. I'm sure Leo'd say otherwise, but I'm not itching to see you over on the other side any time soon.
[He'll leave the implication there.]
no subject
[ Well, his eyes are now on Crow's feet. He's been really good at this (not really) so far...or rather sitting through and just observing, no matter what's happened.
His eyes close for a moment as if that would help school his expression. ]
At the beginning of this... mess, I did not think I would have considered the thought that all that was done would lead up to you being in the position you are now.
[ Not the start of the trial, but rather, at the forefront of their introductory, and subsequent interactions. ]

[ he ... honestly doesn't have any thoughts about this. though it seems something is on his mind he also looks completely resigned. ]

[...]
Make sure he doesn't do anything else stupid, alright? That goes for you too.
no subject
[ because he sure as hell would be.
... ]
Think you're asking the wrong guy. I can't make anymore promises.

[ it's the only question she has at this point that she might get an answer to. (thanks for being vague, boys) ]

[She can try to ask more, but...]

[She can't even look at him]
no subject
[And he's back to his usual grin, with a wink in her direction.]
So keep your chin up. And I better not be seeing you where I'm going anytime soon.
