Friday

[ You've all done pretty well this week thus far -- this time no one has even seemed to outwardly give the motive much of a blink or two. Given that this has been the case, it probably ran through everyone's minds that no one this week would bother to commit an additional murder based upon motive, especially since it had been already filled with the sea of three bodies added to the pile. Besides, who would kill for something like Power anyway? Psh.

... It wasn't like people had killed their own best friends for power or accidentally unleashed monstrous abominations in their quest for power, right?

Anyway.

As morning dawns once again and people get up...at around 5-6 am or so, for the early risers they may find something quickly, although whether that somethingis something pleasant is another thing entirely. ]

The outside cuts on the arms... Do they look like they would've been made with the same type of knife that caused the gut wound? Or something else? And are they on both, and where on the arms? Upper, lower...?]

[Wow, this isn't cool being a suspect?? He was already a suspect by proxy last week since the rooms were shared, but now there's no ambiguity at all. It sucks a lot.

Anyways, Crow will be near his room after he and Rean finish up investigating all the laundry stuff. Feel free to interrogate him here and check out just how appallingly disgusting his room is!]

ROOM SEARCH AND INTERROGATION

(After doing his camera work, and handing the camera to Mikami because he's a suspect, he's going to be in his room, because he KNOWS he's going to get interrogated. Because fuck this hotel.

[ Nepeta wriggles her way through the crowd to get to investigating. Anything about it smell funny? Does it look like it's been cut up like prey? What's the Grinch's expression like?]

The Pouncellor examines the scene of the crime with a disappurroving sigh. The Grinch was a grump but he didn't deserve this.

[After a bit, and Kevin's seemingly feeling better, he's going to set up sanctuary in the ballroom. Assuming there's nothing off in there, anyone who just needs to get away can go there. This week, he really doesn't want to get in the way of the investigation, so he'll be there. And if no one shows up he'll start investigating things on the ground floor just to keep busy.]

Not that I can think of off the cuff, but I know I have a far higher tolerance for this kind of thing than most of you do.

[ Yeah, guess who's not having a good week. First the viscount, then a straight up bloodbath, and now Crow was a suspect. You can bet Rean's already there with Crow, and he'll be CLOSE BY in case anyone feels like they want to question his bro. ]

I might as well get this out of the way. Think you can tell me what you were up to last night?

Well, I'm familiar with knives, so I can check that much at least.

[He hates taking responsibility for anything, but here he is doing exactly that.]

Though whenever Chavez unlocks suspect rooms, those will be another primary focus.

Conchita's Room: Lily 233 + Interrogation

[ Conchita's room is open. It's kept rather tidy, with the futon made. There's a supply of snacks in one corner, although they seem to have not been touched yet. There's a set of cloths covered in dirt also in the room, kept separate from her clean clothes. There are also a few other outfits in the pile, all with varying degrees of dirt on them. The dirt is obviously from the garden, and if one didn't know of her hobby, they can guess what it is now: in another corner is a gardening kit. It consists of a pair of trimmers, pruning shears, a gardening knife, some wooden stakes and very thin rope, a hand spade and rake and a watering can. They all look to have been used in the past day. Otherwise, she has several knick-knacks from the gift shop. They largely consist of several glass ornamental pieces of varying animals, although there are some baby clothes and toys tucked away near to the futon.

Conchita herself is in the kitchens helping since she can handle the grossness best, completely unaware she's a suspect. ]

[ There's a slightly wet thud as the frozen Grinchmeat falls to the floor of the freezer, with Al letting out a muffled, terrified gasp. ]

Oh no... oh god...

Was... was someone going to...

[ Yeah, he's seen a lot in his life, but this is just. Too much. He promptly runs out into the kitchen and just straight up pukes in the sink. Hope y'all checked in there already. ]

After that, if you direct me with what to look for, I can take over handling the corpse so you don't have to.

[Nepeta being nearby and seeing this as she tries to examine the body. Seeing Al run out and the Grinchmeat fall to the floor, she blinks, shrugs, and sniffs it.]

Blargh! Who'd try to eat this guy? I guess it's less of a waste but still!

[He looks diseased tbh. Nepeta snaps a picture of the grinchsteak.]

Ugh... erm... The Pouncellor picks up the... evidence to fit it back into purrlace... and infurm the others about this less then delicious discovery.
